Isha B.'s 2015 NPC Season Highlights
|
Hi, I’m Isha.
I’m your everyday woman with BIG dreams. The need and the idea for M.E.S.H.E.D. came to me in 2011 from my deep desperation for happiness during the hardest time of my life, which included illnesses, deaths, student debt, school and layoffs. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t sleep--sometimes getting only 5 minutes in before working 13 hours. The pressure had been building since 2007 when my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. My body ached. My mind was always racing. My weight was all over the place. I’d lose 10-20 pounds—I’d gain 10-20 pounds. The cycle was maddening and ridiculous. I was so young. "Is this all that there is for me?", I thought. Weeping uncontrollably I asked, "How God, if you’re there--how does one achieve true happiness even in the face of adversity?—even when there seems to be no hope? Even when it seems no one understands? Even when it seems I'm alone in this world? How do I—how do all of us achieve boundless happiness?" The ultimate question was simple, “What do we need to be happy?”
Almost, as if guided, I began writing words down--money, health, meditation, support system, hobbies, passions, and interests, home, exercise, diet (good nutrition), education, car, etc. I then took it a step further and asked, ‘Which of these are essential—which are absolute necessities in achieving ultimate happiness?’ Of the dozens of words I wrote, I was moved to circle and focus my attention on only 6. At first there was no order. Support, Diet, Exercise, Meditation, Education, Hobbies (passions & interests). Out of my need to make chaos into order, I wondered if these 6 essential building blocks of a happy life could make a word…and there it was…M.E.S.H.E.D.! Meditation. Education. Support. Hobbies (passions & interests). Exercise. Diet.

Dec 2012: 2 months after my mother died, and 10 months after my grandmother died. I had just started school in order to become a Lifestyle Fitness Coach (a dream I had since 2005, but put off). I was stressed, depressed, and overworked. I was fearful and miserable--fearful of death, failure, living. I was afrai of everything, it seemed. I wasn't fully living out my dreams. I was settling for 'good enough'. This was the day I decided that I was going to start living the M.E.S.H.E.D. Lifestyle, not in theory but in practice. I felt with certainty my calling was M.E.S.H.E.D. From that day forward I fully dedicated my life to growing mentally, physically, and spiritually, and helping others do the same. I would have many set-backs and new trials, but there is nothing more resilient than the human spirit.
The M.E.S.H.E.D. Methodology or the M.E.S.H.E.D. Lifestyle is the blending or ‘meshing’ together of what I term the ‘Six Essential Building Blocks of Optimal Health (and happiness).’ It is my true and honest belief that we gain happiness, health and empowerment through improving the health of our mind, body, and spirit. When we are strong in these areas, there is a light that turns on—a fire that awakens and we believe, once again, like children, that all things are possible! You must believe to achieve!
When you implement the M.E.S.H.E.D. Lifestyle into your life, you’ll have the potential for boundless happiness, more energy, more health, including physically, mentally, and spiritually. You don’t have to be an expert or a guru— you just have to have the desire to live your best life possible, and with genuine desire (Love & Passion), all things can be achieved.
People who are brave enough to embark upon this human-spirit journey excite me—you are my reason. As a coach it is my job to motivate, guide, and help you execute a plan that will bring about more health, more happiness, and a sense of empowerment beyond your wildest dreams. The possibilities of your life are limitless once you begin implementing and truly embracing the M.E.S.H.E.D. Lifestyle.
In short, my job is to help you incorporate the 'Six Essential Building Blocks of Optimal Health' into your life in a meaningful way that speaks to you Mentally, Spiritually, Emotionally, Financially, and Physically, making M.E.S.H.E.D. the ultimate fun and empowering lifestyle! 1. I mentor and coach aspiring bikini athletes from start to finish using the M.E.S.H.E.D. Methodology. This includes competition selection, training, diet, suit selection, make-up, posing, etc.
2. I help everyday women get the body they want, once and for all by helping them live a balanced M.E.S.H.E.D. Lifestyle in-home, at the gym, outdoors, and/or during times of travel. 3. Empowerment and Motivational Speaker. 4. Isagenix Manager & Business Builder |

Don't spend another day thinking about what you want. Make today the day you start doing what you want! I am passionate about helping you plan, do, and execute in order to have the health you want and to live the life you want. It’s possible. It really is. Begin now--set the intention that today will be a defining moment in your life! It may be challenging at times, but all things that are grand in their reward typically are. Take the first step--I got your back!
Below you'll find my official bio and credentials, in third-person and all. :) Now that you have visited, I hope you will share it with your friends, come back soon, and drop me a message so I can get to know you a little better. Here's to Empowerment! - Sincerely, Isha B. |
Ruthie Marie (Oct. 20 1949 - Oct. 7, 2012, top center photo, age 62): This was my family's DIVA. She was unlike the 'catty' version most people think of when you hear that word. The word diva often holds a negative connotation. However, my Mom didn't have one arrogant or snooty bone in her body--that's why we didn't mind affixing such a title to her. She had a delightful sense of humor, and as she got older--we'd tease and say, "Look at the Beava (beaver), she still got it--oh I'm sorry...DIVA!' She'd laugh that contagious laugh and would often play along in dance or strut in model-like fashion. 'Yeah, the 'beava' still got it!'
She exemplified class, beauty, and sophistication like no other, but what I loved and remember most about my mother was her desire to change the world--make it a better place through justice, generosity, charity, love of children, and empowerment of women. Weeks before she died, she told me, "Isha, I don't want to die--I feel I have a story to tell, and so many things to do. I think I can help people. I want to help young women and men, single-mothers, and fathers. I want to empower people--let them know that no matter what life throws at you--you can make it through and come out on the other side stronger." I didn't forget, Mom. M.E.S.H.E.D. is dedicate to you and all the people you wished to help. Thank you for instilling a loving-warriors spirit in me. I love you to the heavens and back! |
