- Begin posing 8-12 weeks out from your first competition. Begin no later than 6 weeks out—you will have major regrets if you do. Start ASAP!
- Practice in your heels -- preferably like the ones you'll be wearing on stage
- Have a separate pair of heels for practice and competition day
- Practice posing daily for 15 minutes OR set aside 30-60 minutes 2-4x a week.
- When training at home, I like to practice my posing in between sets
- Always have a refresher session with your coach before every competition to ensure you're on point!
